Frequently asked questions

How is the average quote time calculated?
For our previous quotes we measure the time between receiving the request and sending the quote, and take the average. Time outside working hours (Mon–Fri 08:30–18:00 · Sat 08:30–13:00) and public holidays is not counted. For example, a request received on Friday evening is counted from the start of work on Monday morning.
When does the lead time start?
The lead time in the quote is counted in working days after your payment is confirmed. Your quote page also shows the “estimated shipping date if you pay today”. For urgent jobs choose “Urgent” in the request form.
What if the quote doesn't suit me?
You can request a revision from your quote page with one click (e.g. change of quantity, material, lead time or finish). Our engineers email you the updated quote. The quote is not binding in any way.
Are my drawings safe?
Uploaded files are received over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and stored in a non-public area with no web access; only the engineers preparing your quote can access them. On request we sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before production.

If your drawing is ready, your quote is ready in 2 h 30 min on average.

The average quote time is calculated from our previous quotes. Time outside working hours is not counted.
